1. Cancellation by Customer
1.1 Standard Cancellation Terms
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our guests and our business:
- More than 72 hours before class: Full refund of the booking amount
- Between 24 and 72 hours before class: 50% refund of the booking amount
- Less than 24 hours before class: No refund
- No-show: No refund
1.2 How to Cancel
To cancel your booking, you can:
Please include your booking reference number and the name under which the booking was made. Cancellation is confirmed only when you receive confirmation from us.
2. Modifications
2.1 Date Changes
We offer free date changes subject to availability if requested:
- 72+ hours before: One free date change
- 24-72 hours before: Date change subject to 20% fee
- Less than 24 hours: Treated as a cancellation (no refund)
2.2 Guest Number Changes
- Increase in guests: Subject to availability and additional payment
- Decrease in guests: Follows standard cancellation policy for removed guests
2.3 Course Changes
Switching to a different cooking course is treated as a modification:
- Subject to availability
- Price difference will be charged or refunded accordingly
- Must be requested at least 24 hours before original booking
3. Cancellation by Us
In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel a class due to:
- Insufficient number of participants (minimum group size not met)
- Severe weather conditions
- Instructor illness or emergency
- Force majeure events
If we cancel your booking, you will receive:
- Option 1: Full refund processed within 5-10 business days
- Option 2: Free rescheduling to any available date
4. Refund Processing
4.1 Processing Time
- Credit card refunds: 5-10 business days
- Bank transfers: 7-14 business days
Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
4.2 Refund Method
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for booking. We cannot refund to a different card or account.
5. Late Arrivals
Our cooking classes run on a strict schedule. If you arrive late:
- Up to 15 minutes late: You may join the class in progress
- More than 30 minutes late: Considered a no-show, no refund
- Pickup service: You must be ready at the pickup point on time
6. Special Circumstances
6.1 Medical Emergencies
In case of documented medical emergencies, please contact us as soon as possible. We will review each case individually and may offer:
- Full refund with medical documentation
- Credit for future booking
- Date change without fee
6.2 Flight Cancellations
If your flight to Chiang Mai is cancelled (with documentation from the airline), we can offer:
- Free rescheduling to your new arrival date
- Full refund if rescheduling is not possible
7. Group Bookings
For group bookings (6 or more people):
- Different cancellation terms may apply
- Partial cancellations (reducing group size) follow standard policy
- Please contact us directly for group booking modifications
8. Gift Vouchers
Bookings made with gift vouchers:
- Can be rescheduled until the voucher expiry date
- No cash refunds for gift voucher bookings
- Voucher value can be applied to alternative dates
